Kanchanpur : A motorcyclist hit by a bus at Bhasi of Bhimdattanagar-2 along the east west highway died on the way to hospital on Sunday evening.
Shravan Chaudhary of nearly 27 year riding a motorcycle (Se 4 Pa 8188) was hit by a bus, said DSP Krishna Raj Ojha, adding that he breathed his last while being taken to Mahakali Hospital. However, the bus hitting Chaudhary is yet to be ascertained.
The bus coming from opposite direction rammed Chaudhary while he was returning home from bazaar. The dead body is now kept at the hospital.
Meanwhile, a news story received from Urlabari of Morang mentioned that a motorcyclist died at Patharisanischare municipality-7 of Morang district last night.
Omnath Upreti, 65, riding a motorcycle suddenly lost control, thereby meeting the accident. Injured severely, Upreti died during treatment at Birat Nursing Home early this morning.
Upreti is from Patharisanischare-10.
Police Inspector Kamal Bajgain informed that pillion rider Bharatmani Acharya, 53, who was also injured in the accident, has been receiving treatment.
